Sound Thought

Richy Carey | Rhubaba Choir

Wednesday 30 March 2016
CCA, Glasgow
7.30pm

The Rhubaba choir have been working with artist Richy Carey to create a performance where Richy provides a visual soundtrack, and the choir provide the sound based on their impressions of what they see.
The resulting work will be performed at Sound Thought festival at CCA, as part of a programme selected in tandem with LUX Scotland alongside work from Christian Eloy, Patrick Ward, JSHUA + Oliver Sabin and Feronia Wennborg and a screening of Elizabeth Price’s At the House of Mr. X.

Sound Thought is an annual music and sonic arts festival run by University of Glasgow postgraduates. Through a series of concerts, screenings, performances, discussions and workshops, the three-day festival will show how research and practice from a range of sound and music disciplines communicate across artistic fields. More information can be found at soundthought.

Event is free but ticketed. Tickets available from CCA.
