Slide Night #7: Repose, Suspend, Oblique (for T.B.)
Mark Bleakley and Claricia Kruithof
8.30pm, Saturday 15 April 2017
Rhubaba is proud to have hosted Slide #7: Repose, Suspend, Oblique (for T.B.), a slide projector performance evening.
Mark Bleakley and Claricia Kruithof present three sketches for working with slide projectors. Exploring the position of the body in relation to the apparatus, the performers played with suspension of images through their own physicality.
Slide Night takes the formal shape of a traditional slide talk, this one structure acting as a grimcrack portmanteau, within which function a series of diverse and disconnected movements, tangents and dead ends.
Slide Night is an ongoing project by Thomas Whittle.
