Exploring the way language and sounds shape our understanding of what we see and experience, Rhubaba and Tom Gidley were pleased to present a performance by Sue Tompkins to accompany Tom’s exhibition U + I = Parade.

Taking place amongst Tom’s new body of ceramic works, Sue performed Off Strip!, a new performance in reaction to the structures, colours, materials and imagery in the show.

Through her spoken word performances, Sue distorts the meaning of everyday borrowed words and phrases by playing with the vocalised and physical structure of language.

Doors open at 6pm, performance begins at 7pm, prompt.
